 Ronaldo.   J. C. Batista

Possui graduação (2001), mestrado (2003) e doutorado em Física pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2006) com estágio sanduíche na Universidade de Cambridge (2004-2005). Atualmente, é professor da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Tem experiência na investigação da propriedades de eletrônicas, de transporte eletrônico, magnéticas e estruturais de nanotubos, grafeno, fulerenos, nanopartículas metálicas, superfícies, interfaces, polímeros e junções moleculares por meio de cálculos de primeiros princípios e dinâmica molecular usando potenciais empíricos.
